Wedgetail Eagle

This big guy was injured possibly after being hit by a vehicle as it was feasting on road kill. The hunter became another victim in this case. As traffic increased over the years the roadkill of native animals increased and now the eagles hunt for most of their food on the roadside as it is abundant.
